In 2014, John was on the cutting edge of Hydrogen Fueling in California working directly with Toyota and Honda corporate to identify locations for new stations. In the first major submittal to the California Energy Commission, 27 sites were submitted for approval in which 19 of John's sites were awarded (the max allotted to any developer). Often referred to as the "secrete weapon", John remains the leader in sites submitted with over 100 excited leases and 55 open sites. He is responsible for 70% of Hydrogen Fueling sites open today, more than any other developer, company, entity or person in the industry.
